Finance Manager - B-One Hire

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
  • Provide effective and inspiring leadership to achieve regional goals.
  • Coach and mentor team members to implement operational financial plans.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of work.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships within the team.
  • Develop and implement a tracking and reporting system for progress and plan implementation.
Regional Operational Plan and Targets:
  • Set and manage short, medium, and long-term targets and goals for the region.
  • Achieve profitability and growth strategies.
  • Ensure effective financial controls.
  • Identify innovative solutions to optimize resource use and maximize outputs.
Financial Statement Management:
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Propose and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
Stock Control Management:
  • Leverage Kerridge Information System to enhance financial and technological processes.
  • Contribute to stock planning cycles and provide analysis to support commercial decisions.
Credit and Risk Management:
  • Ensure adherence to corporate credit management strategies and policies.
  • Identify and manage risks appropriately for the region.
Reporting:
  • Research best practices, local conditions, trends, and competitor activity.
  • Develop and analyze reports and assist with divisional activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • B Comm Accounting degree or higher financial qualification (CA (SA) preferred).
  • Completed Financial Articles.
  • 7 years of experience in a senior financial management role in retail or FMCG.
  • Proven track record of financial leadership and strategic planning.
