Leadership and Management:
- Provide effective and inspiring leadership to achieve regional goals.
- Coach and mentor team members to implement operational financial plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of work.
- Build strong, respectful relationships within the team.
- Develop and implement a tracking and reporting system for progress and plan implementation.
- Set and manage short, medium, and long-term targets and goals for the region.
- Achieve profitability and growth strategies.
- Ensure effective financial controls.
- Identify innovative solutions to optimize resource use and maximize outputs.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Propose and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
- Leverage Kerridge Information System to enhance financial and technological processes.
- Contribute to stock planning cycles and provide analysis to support commercial decisions.
- Ensure adherence to corporate credit management strategies and policies.
- Identify and manage risks appropriately for the region.
- Research best practices, local conditions, trends, and competitor activity.
- Develop and analyze reports and assist with divisional activities.
- B Comm Accounting degree or higher financial qualification (CA (SA) preferred).
- Completed Financial Articles.
- 7 years of experience in a senior financial management role in retail or FMCG.
- Proven track record of financial leadership and strategic planning.
