Description
You will be responsible for responding to communications from guests, travel agents, groups and referral networks concerning Reservations queries arriving by mail, telephone, fax, or through a central reservation system. You will be responsible for coordinating all reservations, creating and maintaining reservation records, preparing and sending invoices and confirmation and promptly process any cancellations and modifications. Follow up on enquiries and getting payment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Martic
- Hospitality Management Qualification or similar
- At least 2 years experience as a Reservationist, preferably for multi-property sites
- Excellent Computer Literacy Skills with MSOffice and a typing speed of at least 60 wpm
- Experience in preparing quotes, letters of confirmations etc
- Experience on a recognised Hotel Property Management System
- Advanced Computer Literacy skills with a working knowledge of MS Office
- Hands on Problem Solving approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Great attention to detail and sound financial acumen
- Presentable and well spoken
- Self Motivated
- Presentable and well spoken
- Excellent telephone manner
- Team Player
- Ability to work shifts, weekends and overtime
- Prepared to work shifts at hotel level as and when required
