What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You'll be supporting business initiatives and creating brand awareness that will aid in revenue generating. A big focus of yours will be presentations, these presentations will be for new business pitches, due diligence meetings, client presentations and staff updates. You'll be generating and collating data for individual funds including asset allocation and performance data. You'll also be responsible for updating all fund data worksheets and well as generating fund performance updates on a monthly basis using Morningstar. You'll also get involved in creating investor application and transaction forms, providing data for questionnaires and updating the website.
Where you'll be doing it
You'll get to work at a very well-known and top performing asset manager in based in Claremont, Cape Town. You'll join a small marketing team of 3 and will report directly into the Head of Marketing, someone who has been in the industry for many years and who will be a true mentor to you..
What you'll need
Your passion and interest in marketing needs to be backed by no less than 5 years marketing experience gained in asset management. Being in a support role like this is your career goal, the team is small so upward movement is limited.
