A young and growing thermoformed plastic packaging manufacturer has a vacancy for an experienced machine setter.
Job responsibilities:
- Tool changes and machine settings as per production plan
- Maintenance of machine settings throughout production runs to ensure quality, output and specification compliance
- Maintaining a safe operating environment
- Relieving operators from time to time
- Assisting shift leader in meeting production targets
- Maintenance of process control data
Job requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent formal education
- Experience of at least 3 years as a thermoforming machine setter
- Previous experience in a high hygiene food packaging manufacturing environment
- Logical and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Good communication skills
- Team player with leadership potential
- Availability to work shifts
- Own reliable transport
