DISCOVER THE ROLE
As the Email Automation Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting t he email automation activities, helping to establish processes, a roadmap of features & email automation tactics, and educating the wider marketing team. It is a role that sits in a global in-house team and requires you to work closely with a global marketing team and internal subject matter experts. We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates willingness and flexibility to adapt own approach to new ways of working to achieve improved outcomes. Please note that we are actively recruiting in these locations (Warsaw, Cape Town, Johannesburg) but are open to applicants from other regions of Poland and South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with day-to-day management of the Dynamics 365 marketing module email marketing automation platform.
- Working together with Data and IT & Operations team to maintain business as usual performance.
- Provide ad hoc support for single email sends, form set-up, and weekly newsletter email sends and event/ webinar email sends.
- Facilitate campaign kick-offs with global marketing colleagues for complex email nurture campaigns.
- Support campaign owner in lead handover process, reporting etc.
- Use a data-driven approach to understand email campaign performance and areas to test and iterate to continuously improve.
- Provide email campaign performance reports, insights and actions.
- Drive email performance by aiding with training and supporting email campaign reviews.
- Share email and automation best practices with the wider team.
- Proven experience in email marketing automation platform management (Dynamics 365 marketing module preferred).
- Previous experience of working in a B2B marketing environment.
- Excellent English language skills, including reviewing copy in English.
- Ability to build rapport and credibility across all colleagues and stakeholder groups.
- Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders' expectations with regards to delivery, escalating concerns as appropriate.
- Experience in marketing campaigns targeting a global audience.
- Experience in marketing database management and/or creating lists for email campaigns.
- Ability to measure ROI and apply learning on an ongoing basis, with a good knowledge of a web analytics service.
