The Data Governance Assistant (Sales) is responsible for supporting the Data governance Team Leader (Sales) in maintaining the integrity of the CRM through data cleansing, data enrichment and, ultimately, record creation. As the Data Governance Assistant, you will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to sort through large amounts of data, collate and map it into the CRM system.
The team consists of six Data Governance Assistants reporting into the team leader. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience, or strong interest, in data governance / management to develop their experience in a global environment, working with colleagues from around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Create new records and make updates manually or via mass data imports
- Run regular duplicate and Ultimate Parent Organisation (UPO) checks to ensure any inaccurate records are amended in a timely manner
- Research and link organisations that fall under a common UPO
- Support team leader in reporting on data quality and CRM usage
- Research organisations on publicly available and subscription-based resources, such as ZoomInfo
- Maintain and enhance lead, organisation, and other sales data
- Work with sales insights team and provide support for reports and dashboards
- Help the team leader maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all sales data processes
- Log queries or issues in the CRM system and escalate them for resolution
- Keenness to learn new technologies and become proficient in them
- Strong data inputting skills and ability to follow set processes
- Experience in managing and analysing large amounts of information in Microsoft Excel
- SQL experience highly recommended
- Understanding of sales and marketing data, GDPR and how to use data effectively within a commercial environment
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Conscientious, with excellent attention to detail
- Personable with excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic and proactive
