We are seeking a qualified, trade-tested, and experienced Toolmaker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, repair, and improvement of all tooling dies, jigs, fixtures, and fittings for press tools and CNC equipment.1 2 3
Requirements
- Minimum N3 (and matric) 4
- In-depth knowledge of grinders, lathes, and milling machines 5
- Tool, Jig, and Die Maker Trade 6
- Previous industry/product-related experience is preferred 7
- Valid forklift and crane licenses are highly advantageous 8
- Experience in tool development, fabrication, maintenance, and understanding of manufacturing techniques and 5S processes 9
- Understanding of the principles of continuous improvement and fundamental financial/cost concepts 10
- Experience in project management and the ability to work independently and adhere to project timelines 11 12 13
- Basic understanding of GD&T 14
