Responsibilities
- Find opportunities to elevate the brands. This could be a combination of in-store campaigns, point-of sale, content marketing or events.
- To build and align the Category strategy including online exposure in all consumer channels (FMCG, DIY, Stationery).
- To assist the sales team with implementing NPD according to the NPD roadmap in collaboration with Category Managers.
- Aligning best POS practices with Global Consumer market, managing POS material.
- Trade marketing support for C&C accounts.
- Deliver customer trade shows on time, to budget whilst raising our client's profile.
- Communications relating to online activities, press releases, product information, packaging etc.
- Within the Matrix, you will collaborate with Regions, Exports, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D and other BUs.
- Travelling to regions is important.
- The role requires drive and initiative. A high degree of interpersonal skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude are required due to the large number of contacts needed, both internal and external to achieve success.
- The role is responsible for supporting the marketing team in delivering cost effective and impactful trade marketing initiatives which support the delivery of the 5 year C&C strategic business plan.
- Turnover and GP/ MVC performance of the Category.
- Alignment with Global Category / channel Marketing Budget.
- Ability to think on Strategic level.

- Demonstrated experience in scoping and conducting quantitative and qualitative market studies.
- Comfortable with figures and analysis I Awareness of key trends, customers, competitors in DIY/Consumer and adjacent markets (Construction, Retail etc.).
- Self-starter able to flourish in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
- Good interpersonal skills and an ability to identify sources of market intelligence from both internal and external networks insights.
- Minimum primary degree in Marketing, Business administration or a related field (advanced degree such as MBA.
