The Trade Marketing coordinator plays an important role within Trade Marketing. In a competitive FMCG environment, the incumbent will be a key role player in ensuring the timeous deployment of impactful visibility materials across the retail channels, for multiple brands within our Smoke Free Products (SFP) category. The design, production, and placement of visual layouts, planograms that impact awareness and volume will be the key objective.
Your Day to Day
- Own the overall brand visual merchandising guidelines with a focus in our indirect channels
- Take accountability for executional excellence through collaboration with key executional stakeholders.
- Take ownership, in collaboration with brand guardians, of brand representation across all retail.
- Uphold the multicategory strategy through share of shelf,
- Always be seeking new visibility opportunities within the retail spaces.
- Contribute to the development of short and long-term marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics to deliver against agreed upon brand, business, and financial goals.
- Participates in the development and execution of annual marketing plan and assist in building the strategy for IQOS.
- Support retail activation activities by offering sound brand staging and merchandising toolkits.
- Apply analysis, based on in-depth research and critical thinking to recommend solutions.
- Align with Omni-channel initiative planning from concept to execution.
- Provide perspective on proposed solutions and process changes to improve overall retail implementation.
- Collaborate closely with Global VM partners to drive global standards in local launches.
- Drive creation and strategy to elevate the global IQOS presentation suite including windows, propping and overall creative elements.
- Minimum Grade 12
- Degree or National Diploma is an advantage
- 5 years of visual merchandising or POS visibility management within an FMCG environment
- Experience in POS Material production advantageous.
- Store management experience advantageous.
- Premium brand staging experience is preferred
- Global / multi-national brand experience is preferred
- Knowledge of retail product flow
- Solid creative experience and ability to identify and implement trends and appropriate visual looks
- Retail visual experiences in a relevant category
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn quickly and drive speed to market
- Strong analytical skills, being able to make decisions from multiple data sources
- Comfort in dealing with various stakeholders including management
- Superior creative skills
- Ability to work in a highly cross-functional environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to travel, as needed
- Drivers license
