Your Job:
In this role at Munich Re of Africa, you will be expected to:
- Take part in Soft Skills and Technical training.
- Contribute to with all analyses and review tasks performed to satisfy the requirements of the Risk Function.
- Review and quality assurance of the Internal Control System (ICS).
- Report risk-related topics within MRoA to fulfil the disclosure responsibilities under SAM.
- Present to and training staff members on risk-related topics, including fulfilling a role as risk consultant to the business.
- Support business to further develop the MRoA risk culture.
- Collection of relevant information for risk monitoring, including updating of the risk event log, measures.
- Support the team on latest risk management, business continuity management and information-security management tasks and deliverables.
- Review risk management guidelines and assessing the appropriateness thereof.
- Help organise and conduct workshops for internal stakeholders.
- Participate in team specific tasks and deliverables.
- BCom Economics, Risk and Investment management.
- An excellent academic record (Average above 65%).
- 1-2 years work experience in enterprise risk management would be beneficial.
- Driven and passionate individual.
- Report writing and documentation skills.
- The ability to analyse and interpret risk management information.
- Make decisions and work towards meeting deadlines;
- The ability to support co-ordinating projects; and
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to interact with internal stakeholders and provide specialist advice
