Job Summary
The Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering effective training programs that improve the skills, knowledge, and performance of clients. The role involves updating training materials to suit specific client needs, conducting training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of the training delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop Training Programs:
- Update training content and materials (manuals, presentations, guides, etc.) tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
- Adapt training methods to fit the audience and specific learning goals.
- 2. Conduct Training Sessions:
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions in various formats (in-person, online, one-on-one, or group).
- Ensure that all training is delivered within the agreed time frame and meets the required standards.
- Provide hands-on demonstrations or practical exercises to reinforce learning.
- Evaluate Training Effectiveness:
- Collect feedback from participants and assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Monitor progress and performance improvement post-training.
- Make adjustments to training methods and materials based on participant feedback and outcomes.
- Coordinate with Management and Stakeholders:
- Work with managers to identify training needs and goals.
- Align training programs with client objectives and employee development plans.
- Maintain Records and Reporting:
- Track attendance, participation, and performance in training programs.
- Prepare reports on training effectiveness and present findings to management.
- Bachelors degree in education, human resources, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a facilitator, instructor, or similar role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate participants.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
- Proficiency in using training software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams).
- Adaptability to different learning styles and levels.
- Certification in training (Train the Trainer) is an advantage.
- Experience in developing e-learning content or blended learning programs.
- Experience in coaching or mentoring individuals or teams.
- Travel to training venues or client sites is required.
- Ability to conduct virtual training using online platforms.
