- Develop, implement, manage and execute the B-BBEE strategy, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements and best practices.
- Manage B-BBEE compliance by overseeing the continuous improvement of the B-BBEE scorecard across various business units, ensuring all pillars and KPIs are met and optimized
- Coordinate enterprise and supplier development by managing, supporting and executing projects within the pillars of Preferential Procurement, Enterprise, and Supplier Development, and Social Economic Development to meet company objectives.
- Oversee verification processes by leading the B-BBEE verification process, including preparation, auditing, and ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
- Drive Socio-Economic Development initiatives by driving, implementing and managing social and economic development initiatives in line with corporate goals and legislative requirements.
- Drive, manage, co-ordinate and execute on the Y.E.S programme in line with company objectives
- Stakeholder engagement and training by establishing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including B-BBEE verification auditors, DTI, and Department of Labour, and provide training to internal stakeholders.
- Reporting and data integrity by ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting of all transformation activities, and manage the preparation and submission of required reports to regulatory bodies.
Candidates should have a degree in Social Science, Human Resources, Economics, Business Management, or Project Management/ Equivalent. A BBBEE Certification or MDP B-BBEE is advantageous. Applicants need 5 years or more experience in B-BBEE compliance and transformation within a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record in managing B-BBEE scorecard calculations, verification processes and auditing. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP), MS Office, and scorecard tracking tools is preferred, along with strong project management skills. Excellent analytical, report writing, and communication skills are required. Candidates should be able to lead and inspire teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and navigate complex regulatory environments.
