Position Summary: Provides oral and written translations from the English language to and from a designated foreign language and from and to the English language. Prepares and distributes written translations for publications, forms, announcements, and instructions.

Salary: $21.76 - $28.80 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on experience (new hire maximum of step 5).
Location: English Learner Services Department
Hours: 4 hours/day; 5 days/week

Education and Experience: The position typically requires an Associates Degree and a high level of language proficiency and prior experience translating in a multi-cultural environment. Experience and certifications may substitute for some higher education.
Licenses and Certifications: May require a valid drivers license.
