Data Collection Project Trio - Data Contributor

We are currently looking for participants to join our onsite Data Collection project Trio in Pretoria.
The purpose of this project is to collect data (voice and video) to study and improve user interactions in South African English with a virtual assistant on different devices. The participants will interact with a voice assistant, following the guidelines provided during each specific session on our premises.

This project consists of 3 different independent tasks:

• Task A: 3 audio recording sessions (about 2 hours each and up to 6 hours and 30 minutes in total)
• Task B: 1 audio recording session while being video recorded (up to 1 hour and 30 minutes in total)
• Task C: 1 recording session while being video recorded (up to 2 hours in total).

Each participant can participate in one, two or three tasks.
A member of our Scheduling Team will reach out to selected participants to schedule their session(s).
Depending on availability and task(s) chosen, participation can be scheduled across different days.
Requirements:

• Be 18 years or older.
• Be a resident of South Africa.
• Be a native speaker of South African English.
• Be able to visit our premises in Pretoria, South Africa for scheduled session(s) onsite.

Compensation:
The compensation will depend on which task(s) you will successfully complete:
Task A: 150.00 USD for 3 recording sessions (about 2 hours each and up to 6 hours and 30 minutes in total). Please note that to be paid for Task A, you will need to successfully complete all 3 recording sessions.
Task B: 40.00 USD for 1 session (up to 1 hour and 30 minutes in total).
Task C: 50.00 USD for 1 session (up to 2 hours in total).
