Our company is urgently seeking to employ a transport broker in Durbanville, Northern Suburbs.
Job requirements:
- Available as soon as possible.
- Must be confident and well spoken.
- Must have previous brokering experience in the Cape Town area.
Job responsibilities:
- Daily operations of a freight brokerage, including scheduling and tracking loads, negotiating with transporters and handling customer queries.
- Follow up and secure new business.
- Coordinate collections and deliveries (bulk loads and break bulk loads).
- Liaise with customers and transporters.
- Maintain customer service and transporters relationship (phone calls and emails).
- Compile quotations.
- Maintain a weekly schedule of loads (load entry, tracking, and dispatch).
