How Youll Contribute
- As a Sr Analyst, you will support the Director of Compliance Monitoring in the build, implementation and management of a Global Compliance Monitoring program intended to support and help Business Units fulfill their compliance responsibilities while achieving their business goals.
- You will help ensure that the Compliance team provides timely, proactive advice, monitoring and independent oversight of TransUnions compliance with many regulatory requirements. Together with the team and the Business Units we support, we work to reduce regulatory risk, protect TransUnions reputation, and help TransUnion succeed.
- Serve as an advisor, problem solver, communicator, and risk manager.
- Perform monitoring reviews of compliance with various regulatory requirements around the world.
- Assist and collaborate in the development of reporting to provide advice and guidance to the business on necessary actions to achieve regulatory compliance
- Contribute to reports and presentations concerning the operation and progress of the Company's compliance efforts.
- Maintain current knowledge of compliance best practices, recent enforcement activities within the industry and similar industries, and information published by applicable government agencies,
- Guide the successful completion of major programs that impact cross-functional team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors degree in risk management, finance, economics, business management, statistics, computer science, pre-law or other related field (An equivalent combination of education and prior work experience)
- Minimum of 3 years professional work experience, preferably in the fields of Compliance, Audit or Risk Management
- Compliance and process mindset.
- Certification, or willingness to seek certification, as a qualified compliance professional (e.g. Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), via the Compliance Certification Board (CCB) and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE)) or other relevant professional certification
- Practical experience preferred supporting a monitoring program or other compliance function or other risk management discipline, such as audit, examination, fraud examination, quality control, quality assurance, training, credit risk, information security, data analysis, or risk analysis
- The ability to build and foster relationships, and become a trusted business partner, with senior leaders of the organization through excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills and recognized expertise
