As a Africa Travel Specialist, you will get to know our guests travel dreams and understand what makes them tick, and from there, create a tailor-made proposal based on their personal interests and your first-hand knowledge and travel experiences. We offer in-depth training and support to ensure you realise your potential, and meet your OTE , this covers everything from mentoring, line management guidance, and also educational trips to experience our product.
What you will be doing:
- Developing, growing, and leading your own sales pipeline by delivering excellent customer service to repeat bookers and new enquiries. Establishing rapport and identifying our guest's needs are key objectives to closing the sale
- Follow up on incoming and existing enquiries with our guests, primarily over the phone, in order to have detailed conversations to establish their travel preferences and build important relationships
- Prepare detailed, accurate, and high-quality itineraries, reflecting the guest's interests, and selecting the most appropriate flights, accommodations, and excursions
- Use a variety of sales techniques and communication methods to convert bookings
- Administration duties required to complete bookings and itinerary
- A passion for Africa travel including personal first-hand Africa travel experience
- Experience working in the travel industry together with a great knowledge of safari reserves and camps in Africa
- The highest level of tenacity, curiosity, and strong work ethic
- Experience working closely with high-end guests to create tailor-made trips using first-hand knowledge and personal expertise
- Excellent listening/communication skills and the ability to bring travel experiences to life and build trust
- Reaching the minimum goal is never enough and you strive to go above and beyond.
