An amazing opportunity for a graduate (in any discipline) to travel to China, Hong Kong and Macau to teach English to children. The opportunity is based in Sunninghill Johannesburg, where the candidate will be trained and prepped for the various short - term teaching jobs in areas of China, Hong Kong and Macau. While not traveling and teaching, the candidate will be assisting with back - office management in the following disciplines:
- Human Resources
- Recruitment
- Marketing
- Advertising
- Curriculum and educational resources creation
- Teacher training and management
The candidate will have FLIGHTS and ACCOMMODATION paid for, plus an additional R1000 per day stipend for when they are out of South Africa. The monthly salary will be R8000 (plus all South African labour law entitlements)
The teaching stints will be for between 4 and 8 weeks per city, and the candidate will need to do a minimum of 4 stints during the year - long contract (these times will be assigned, and the candidate can request more or longer stints).
Requirements:
Native English speaker
Degree (any discipline) or 2/3 year diploma
TEFL or TESOL or CELTA (not essential)
Experience with children (preferred)
Experience in any two of the aforementioned back-office disciplines (preferred)
Available as soon as possible
Valid passport
