Job Summary
The Typesetter reports to the Traffic Manager and is responsible for the accurate typesetting of financial print and digital mediums, including pie charts and graphs, and delivering outcomes of exceptional quality, within the negotiated timelines.

Our client is a leading Communications Agency, with offices in Fourways and Stellenbosch, and their clients are JSE listed companies whose audited Financial Results, including graphs, pie charts and other legislated documentation must be prepared and printed to a non-negotiable level of perfection.

Skills
In order to be shortlisted for this vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to
- Extremely high attention to detail, particularly with figures
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Advanced levels of Mac: Adobe CC Suite, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Typography Diploma and/or 3 to 5 years experience gained in a similar position (Typesetting Annual Financial Statements and Financial Reports)
- Non-negotiable criteria are ability to work overtime and own reliable transport
The role responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Old school Typesetting skills with exceptionally high levels of perfectionism and working with a vast number of figures
- Extensive customer focus, primarily pertaining to Annual Financial Statements (pie charts and graphs), Integrated Annual Reports, Sustainability Reports, Remuneration and Governance Reports
- Adhering to workflow processes, building constructive relationships with customers and colleagues, administration and company strategy.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
A market related salary based on the level of responsibility for this role is on offer as well as ADDITIONAL LEAVE BETWEEN CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR, over and above annual leave
