My Client in the Motor Industry is urgently looking for a ADMINISTRATION: Underwriting Administrator. They are situated in Sunninghill.
THE JOB WILL ENTAIL inter alia:
Examining insurance proposals
Collecting background information and assessments of risk
Analysing and preparing statistical data
Validating premiums
Liaising with dealers, dealer Groups, OEM’s and insurance brokers and customers.
Loading
Accurate loading of all types of business within administration within set and provided deadlines
Quality control of loaded policies
Filing/Uploading
Queries
Handling of all internal and external queries within the set turn-around time
Logging and track keeping of queries received
Assisting with ad-hoc tasks required from Administration Manager or Supervisor
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
Excellent Computer Literacy

Excellent accuracy in typing and speed
Exceptional management of personal leave and time keeping

Willingness to learn
QUALIFICATIONS:
Matric or the equivalent
Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel
Excellent skills in Microsoft Outlook
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Experience in administration and underwriting in the insurance industry
Advanced Excel
MS Office
Understanding of reports and stats
Good understanding of business and process flows
OTHER:
The candidate must have a tendency towards good time keeping and punctuality.
Effective communication skills both orally and written will not be compromised.
Effective self-management of annual and other leave,
Effective self-management of telephone and e-mail usage
Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and quality of work delivered.
Experience in the Motor Insurance / Warranty Industry will be an advantage.
Salary K9 to K10 based on experience.
