Overall purpose of the position:
The Service Consultant at the Client Care Centre is responsible for reviewing individual applications for insurance to evaluate the degree of risk involved and to determine whether to accept the application.
Job Specifications:
- Analyse Individual Needs of Clients and integrate effectively
- Confirm FAIS Compliance of Documentation Received
- Deal Effectively with Administrative Requirements
- Cross Selling, Retention and Rebrokes
- Following up on leads and referrals
- Professional communication with clients and service providers
- Build relationships with clients on portfolio
- Maintaining Detailed Records of all actions taken
- Meet Deadlines Set
- Follows up on Claims & Underwriting
- Identify and Correct Deviations
- Deadlines met: Multi-claimant and NCB actions
- Timeous feedback to clients
Qualifications & Experience:
- NQF Level 4: full qualification as set by regulation (150 credits)
- Successfully completed the RE 5 Examination Level 1
- A minimum of five (5) years´ working experience within financial services industry
- A minimum of three (3) years´ short term insurance underwriting experience
