A UI/UX Designer eager to join a highly disruptive start-up in a rapid growth phase and positioned to scale
significantly in the coming months.
Job Purpose:
- The UI/UX Designers job is to take products from ideation through customer research, technical analysis, journey mapping to design, development, testing and launch. The main purpose of a
- UI/UX Designer is to create digital interfaces and experiences that provide an optimal user experience, while also meeting the business objectives of the organisation.
- Assist Business Analysts with scoping projects.
- Prepare and hand off work to developers and monitor, test and support the development process.
- Facilitate customer and stakeholder interviews, focus groups, workshops and testing sessions.
- Present research, concepts, designs and prototypes to stakeholders and developers.
- Apply innovative and conceptual thinking to create appropriate digital solutions across multiple platforms, within the products, goals and technical constraints.
- User satisfaction: Satisfaction level of users with the interface and user experience.
- Identify user problems and challenges that needs to be solved.
- Document and perform version control of research findings, UX deliverables and final designs.
- Create and analyse a range of UX deliverables such as user journey maps, wireframes and information diagrams.
- Apply user-cantered methodologies, ensuring the solutions are based on real customer needs.
- Create visual designs based on the latest design trends and practices, focusing on usability and following existing visual guidelines.
- Create sales and marketing material.
- Time tracking in Jira (Tempo) completed weekly, accurate project code allocation with a min of 8 hours per workday.
- Compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Complete all periodic mandatory policy and security training in accordance with Ukheshes guidelines.
- Risk mindset applied and business risks actively raised to direct manager.
- User Experience (UX)/ User Interface (UI) Design related qualification.
- Over 10 years experience in a similar role.
- User Experience (UX) including journey mapping and wireframing.
- User Interface (UI) Design.
