Your role in the team
We get it. A new job is a big deal, and you want to know as much as possible about the team and what youll be doing. When you join us as a UX Copywriter, youll be a member of the general and UX copy team, which forms part of our in-house agency.
- You understand the difference between copy that sells and copy that serves.
- You can adapt your style to take on the natural, guiding tone of UX writing, opting for direct and short-form structures.
- You care deeply about the clients experience, striving to distill complex tasks into ultra-clear and helpful messaging.
- You'll be responsible for seeking meaning, cutting through layers of noise.
- Youre highly sensitive to a users shifting needs, and you can craft intuitive communication that predicts and solves potential pain points.
- Collaboration is critical to your approach.
- Observe and implement learnings from user testing and research.
- Make recommendations for content layout of wireframes.
- Clearly articulate the rationale and strategic thinking behind your approach
- Take feedback from multiple stakeholders and refine work to meet their requirements.
- Review, proofread and edit copy as required.
- Understand IG's complex product and services and be able to articulate this clearly.
- Be a key contributor to working groups, making recommendations and delivering against KPIs.
- Actively participate in decision making and be accountable for team performance
- Lead others in adopting productivity and quality improvements.
- Network extensively and independently to bring UX copy's influence to business decisions.

What Youll Need For This Role
- 2+ years' UX copywriting experience
- Proven track record of collaboration with product designers, developers and project owners
- Solid understanding of how research, and user data, informs design.
- Solid understanding of content design and its impact on UX writing
- A strong appetite for complexity, quickly mastering new technical concepts.
- Intuitive, flexible writing skills subtly adapting your style across contexts.
- Excellent knowledge of grammar and semantics.
- Keen attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Strong communicator who is delivery focused, and organised.
- Ability to switch between dissimilar projects.
- Well-developed aptitude for shaping work in response to critique.
- Strong work ethic.
