The key purpose of this role is to provide for the efficient supply of all utilities to the production departments within the Brewery.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Ensure safety, healthy & environmental legislation compliance
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
- Develop employees
- Ensure a healthy industrial relations climate
- Manage and apply personnel practices
- Maintain system integrity and change control
- Maintain and calibrate site instrumentation
- Ensure application documented standards
- Develop and update engineering standards through hub technical
- Optimise use of planned maintenance system
- Apply formal failure analysis process
- Apply relevant engineering spares strategy
- Project completion on time and in budget
- Manage budgeting process
- Control departmental costs
- Review financial results
- BTech, B.Eng or Bsc (Mechanical, Electrical or Electro-Mechanical) Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of Operation and Maintenance Experience in Utilities Plant
- Knowledge of Refrigeration Plant, Steam Plant, Air Plant and CO2 Plant is essential
- Experience in managing people and leading a team
- Demonstrated ability to coach and build capacity
- Apply analytical thinking to problem solving
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to write concise technical and engineering reports
