Description Of Key Performance Areas

Maximise efficiency of Production operations:
Receive instructions from Shift Team Leader as to which Vessels to work on
Check the job card corresponds with the batch in blender, looking to see if any parts and expresses are to be charged, looking to see if any Work off, substandard material in drums or additions are to be charged.
Prepare filter press or Gaff bag and begin filtration taking regular samples to the lab.
Check lines and collect drums prior to drum off, Drum off /transfer when authorized to do so by lab and check scale is set correctly before drumming off.
Create labels and prepare drums for delivery and reconcile the job card.
Assist as requested by Shift Team Leader.
Adhere to the BPR, SOPs and other plant documents.
Driving of the Forklift as and when required.
Ensure housekeeping is continuously addressed and that the work area is maintained in an appropriate condition as indicated by Management.
Loading of tankers.
Working in the Varnish and defoamer plant as directed by Management.
Working with the polyester blending operations as directed by Management
Required to assist with the charging of materials in the plants as and when directed by management.
Environmental Health and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all OHS regulations.
Working knowledge of process safety management.
Implements and maintains LSS.
