The Vice President, Leadership Learning & Development provides leadership, strategy, and support to teams responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of leadership development programs and initiatives.
They provide the guidance and leadership necessary to execute leadership development initiatives, implement industry best practices, and develop an engaged and high-performing workforce.
Working at NTT
The main responsibility of the Vice President Leadership Learning & Development is to participate with senior leadership to formulate, manage and implement the learning & development strategy.
Manages the activities involved in the design, preparation, delivery and need assessment of training and development programs for company managers and employees.
Joins in partnership with other HR professionals to assess and implement organizational development programs, processes and training initiatives to support organizational strategies. Determines company needs for leadership development, succession planning, career management, interpersonal skills and communication training.
Develops and/or approves content, methods, and materials for training staff and may conduct courses.
Develops methods for evaluation of program effectiveness.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
Set the strategy for talent calibration and succession planning for the leadership and management development area, identifying the specific training curricula and development programmes.
Provide support in the design and continuously improvement of learning programmes and content.
Manage and co-ordinate activities required to perform a learning needs analysis.
Work with internal stakeholders to execute learning and development strategies.
Analyse trends in order to incorporate best practice and methodologies when advising on instructional design for adult learning interventions.
Ensure that learning programmes are conducted and facilitated correctly applying and implementing the best learning tools and methodologies.
Assess the effectiveness of learning interventions on productivity and performance, corporate the findings in the redesign of the programmes and report on the return on investment of these interventions.
Support the overall business and/or HR strategic goals and help continuous business growth through learning development initiatives that foster competence and high performance.
Effectively manage a team, their resources, capacity, and overall performance.
Assist with the departmental/functional training budgets, forecast costs and delegate numbers as required by organizational planning and budget systems.
Analyse the latest and most applicable trends in leadership and management development to be recommended for inclusion in the overall strategy.
Assess current, and relevant learning and development needs of employees and programs of NTT(Ltd), in consultation with program leaders, including utilizing assessment methods and measurement systems for future success.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify and address employee and organizational development needs.

Advanced Degree
Industrial Psychology Qualification with Learning and Development Specialisation

Relevant experience in a similar learning and development role within a related environment
Solid working experience in a learning and development capacity
Are Passionate About Leadership & Management Learning And Development
Possess a good understanding of the principles of adult learning
Are able to define, develop and articulate learning and development strategies and interventions.
