Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Fitness Instructor to join our team. The Fitness Instructor will create and implement personalized fitness plans for clients, lead group fitness classes, educate clients on proper exercise techniques, and motivate clients to achieve their fitness goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop personalized fitness plans for clients based on their fitness goals, physical abilities, and medical history.
- Lead group fitness classes, including yoga, Pilates, HIIT, and strength training.
- Conduct fitness assessments and track clients' progress towards their fitness goals.
- Educate clients on proper exercise techniques and provide guidance on nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Motivate and inspire clients to push themselves and reach their full fitness potential.
- Keep up to date with the latest fitness trends and research to provide the best possible training for clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized workout space and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
- Certified Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor certification.
- CPR/AED certification.
- At least 1 year of experience working as a Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer.
- Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, nutrition, and fitness programming.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients of all fitness levels.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to demonstrate exercises and perform physical activities.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 60kgs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and move around a gym environment.
