Job description

To execute the administrative and technical work associated with stability testing with a secondary focus on analytical method development, verification, new raw material testing, new or trial product testing, competitor product testing, stability testing, analytical method development, verification or optimization and in accordance with GLP and other regulatory requirements.
 
Responsibilities: 
Ensure proper scheduling, coordination, and execution of the stability programme (new and existing products) in accordance with required specification within the required time 
Investigation of Stability Out of Specification and/or Out of Trend results 
Prepare stability reports for expiration date extensions, special studies and completed accelerated and/or bench studies and archive the stability files of completed studies 
GLP, GMP and audits 
Other duties such as assisting with analytical troubleshooting, raw material testing, product testing, stability testing, method development, optimization, and verification.

Requirements:
B.Sc. (Chemistry) or equivalent with report writing experience and preferably 3 years previous industry experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry 
B.Sc. Hons or M.Sc would be advantageous with preferably 2 years in the R&D field relating to food or pharmaceutical industry is desired 
Knowledge of GMP, GLP and lab safety 
High quality, safety and results focus 
Excellent communication, planning and time management skills 
Good analytical, attention to detail & problem-solving skills.
