We have the digital expertise, using cutting-edge technology and highly trained teams leveraging social selling and the best sales practice to unlock growth for you and the businesses we support.This role is responsible for leading a team of Inside Sales National Account Managers, focused managing existing global enterprise customers, delivering best in class account management and ensuring erosion of existing revenue is minimised and revenue is optimised where possible. Working across internal and external stakeholders both locally and globally to identify and win opportunity. Ensuring that the team is constantly identifying and exploiting whitespace to grow their portfolio of accounts will be key to your success. You will be accountable for ensuring that the team achieve their Sales KPIs and that focus is placed on the coaching and development of team members. You will be responsible for delivering against sales targets, ensuring systematic pipeline build and ensuring customers and prospects have a best-in-class experience when dealing with Vodafone. In this role you will be expected to work closely across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at a senior level and work across the C suite of our Global Enterprise customers. You will need to have the ability to work with data and insights, identifying opportunity across your base of accounts and define and deliver on specific plans and initiatives throughout the year.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive performance & build a supportive & collaborative Sales culture.
- Maintain, develop & interpret a strategic understanding of both Vodacom & Market insights.
- Devise and implement best practice inside sales framework
- Drive adoption of key technology enablers
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within Vodacom Business
- Devise and own customer engagement & sales plan to deliver KPIs
- Recruit & successfully on-board new Sales colleagues.
- Ensure all governance, process, quality & compliance is embedded & adhered to.
- Effective management and forecasting of Sales performance.
- Devise and implement training, coaching & mentoring programme to ensure high performance culture & results.
- Assist in team meetings to update members on best practices & continuing expectations.
- Present to stakeholders & senior Management within Digital Sales when required.
- Promote a growth mindset; create an environment & opportunity for the team to thrive & develop.
- Competently devise strong sales plans & promote an environment of positive communication to achieve results.
- Deliver quarterly and monthly reviews if required.
- Train & develop Team Leaders & Team Managers to the next level with the Regional Lead
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
- Matric Essential
- Tertiary Sales/Marketing/Project management qualification
- Relevant 3 Year degree/diploma in Commerce/Finance/Business Management /Marketing/Project Management essential
- Strong change management skills who can actively manage risks and issues able to identify issues and propose resolutions
- Fully accountable for the creation, implementation, and delivery of the
- Commercial Strategy for VB Digital Sales base of accounts (defending and growing existing revenues)
- Capable of driving initiatives within complex business relationships.
- Ability to manage senior internal and external stakeholders (C suite) to deliver business strategy
- Devise and manage a high-quality pipeline, supported by exceptional and proven forecasting & delivery skills.
- Create and drive a high-performance culture
- Take a lead role in networking and promoting Vodacom externally, utilising our network as well as the positive development of client relationships and new pipeline.
- Capable of focusing on complex challenges, logically working through their root causes, and offering several creative options that may achieve a successful solution.
- Exceptional communication skills including Coordination, personal presentation, oral and written communication skills.
