Location: Hybrid | Cape Town
Hours: Predominantly SA hours but must have flexibility to work US hours as and when needed.

We are seeking a Recruiter who will be responsible for managing all volume recruitment in South Africa. This position requires a proactive individual who is organized, well-spoken, and knowledgeable about employment and recruitment laws. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, screening and conducting interviews as well as onboarding of new employees and working with HR to ensure a seemless journey. Flexibility and a willingness to work onsite for high-volume intakes are essential for this role.

Position Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Volume recruitment
- Screen resumes, conduct phone and in-person interviews, and assess candidates against job requirements.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires.
- Scheduling interviews, coordinating with hiring managers and candidates.
- Responding to candidate inquiries professionally
- Organize and maintain recruitment records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate with candidates regarding interview schedules, status updates, and necessary documentation.
- Provide a positive and professional experience for candidates during the recruitment process.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate applications and update recruitment statuses.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry to support recruitment reporting.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Promote the company's employer brand to attract top talent.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of hiring quality candidates in a timely manner.
- Complete daily and weekly reports on recruitment activities.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required to meet recruitment needs.

Key Skills And Experience
- Matric with entry level Tertiary qualification (In human resources related field)
- MUST have Proven experience in volume recruitment.
- BPO background is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Strong interviewing skills and experience.
- HR background is advantageous.
- Knowledge of employment and recruitment laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Flexible with working shifts.
- Strong understanding of recruitment principles and practices in South Africa.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Must be authorized to work in their country of residence
- Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint. Job offers are contingent on background/security investigation results

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
