Position Overview
As a Recruitment Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of various recruitment activities and providing exceptional customer and candidate service. This remote position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and progress in the ATS.
- Assist with conducting reference checks on potential candidates.
- Edit and format CVs to match company standards, highlighting candidates' skills and experience effectively.
- Provide guidance to candidates on CV enhancement and presentation.
- Manage and curate the company's social media profiles, including posting job openings, industry-related content, and engaging with the online community.
- Contribute to the development of social media strategies to enhance candidate outreach and employer branding.
- Research and identify potential clients from various sources, such as online job boards, professional networking platforms, and referrals.
- Collaborate with the team to identify target industries and companies for proactive client sourcing.
- Maintain an organized database of candidates, updating contact details and other relevant information.
- Handle email correspondence, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and candidates, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist candidates through the application process, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant tertiary education is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Prior experience in recruitment, HR, or customer service is advantageous.
This is a remote position, requiring a well-equipped home office setup. Regular in-person update meetings with the team will be scheduled. The initial training period of 2 weeks will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
