- Attending to payroll queries in a professional manner.
- Administering payroll and benefits verifications and audits.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned by management from time to time.
- General payroll administration.
- Active participation in the continuous workplace improvement program.
- Adhere to Astrals ethics policy.
- Maintaining and implementing 20 Keys principles.
- Accurate and on-time preparation of month-end journals, reports, and recons.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Matric
- A tertiary qualification or at least 3 years experience in a similar environment.
- Extensive Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Excellent administration skills and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
- Strong administrative, accurate record-keeping, and time-management skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and must be fully bilingual.
- Must be prepared to work overtime when necessary.
- It is essential that the successful candidate be self-motivated with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
