Warehouse Logistics Systems Developer Implementer / Warehouse Manager Wanted

If so, we want you to join our team as the logistics systems developer / warehouse manager of our central kitchen in Cape Town CBD.
Our central kitchen is the core of our restaurant group, providing high-quality food and ingredients to our outlets across the city. Our vision is to ensure the daily smooth running of our food and beverage products and distribution within our group.
Our mission is to optimize our logistics and warehousing processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
As the logistics systems developer / warehouse manager, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining logistics systems, such as inventory management, order processing, in-bound and outbound delivery tracking, and reporting
- Managing the warehouse operations, such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods
- Ensuring inventory accuracy, quality control, and food safety standards
- Optimizing storage and distribution, such as space utilization, layout, equipment, and transportation
- Coordinating with suppliers and unit managers, such as negotiating contracts, resolving issues, and maintaining relationships
- Reporting to the senior management and providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
To be qualified for this position, you must have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, systems development, or project management, preferably in the food and beverage industry
- A relevant qualification in logistics, engineering, computer science, or management, or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record
- A thorough knowledge of logistics and warehousing principles, practices, and technologies
- A strong ability to analyze, organize, lead, and communicate.
