Control the headcount for warehouse as per budget

Ensure and monitor productivity for warehouse to achieve required target.

Control staff performance: Training of staff members; Build team synergy; Take disciplinary action when necessary

Oversee that controllers manage stock and warehouses: -

Ensure that stock ordering and handling is done according to procedures

Ensure that optimal utilization of warehouse space is achieved

Ensure that Warehouse Controllers manage tidiness and upkeep warehouses to laid down specifications

Ensure that staff reflect and portray the companys corporate image

Ensure daily stock count, stock rotation and management of variances as per company procedures

Suggest outlay of warehouse to Warehouse manager for implementation and communicate changes in work procedure to staff: Draw layout of warehouse and have an updated written procedure of the workflow.

Asset and Resource Management: -

Ensure that the warehouses are prepared for the quarterly housekeeping audits to achieve target.

Supply info to compile yearly Capex budget

Ensure that assets are correct and accounted for

Monitor service levels to the trade

Ensure service levels to the market to the required standard

Measure out of stocks to achieve the required standard

Measure redesignates in various warehouses to achieve the required target

Health and Safety

Ensure that all staff complies with H&S policy, procedures and all staff have the correct PPE
