Job Description
Our client, a leading construction equipment manufacturer, is currently looking for a Warehouse Manager. The ideal candidate will possess detailed understanding of operational, administrative and system processes in the warehouse as well as well experience in managing a team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operations in terms of receiving, checking, storing, picking, stock control activities, quality, health & safety, and to ensure that these functions are carried out in a timely, reliable, and cost-effective manner.
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipment activities.
- Monitor and direct flow and/or movement of parts to ensure dock rotation and availability.
- Overseeing the proper processing of daily orders, spreading workload among the warehouse personnel, and directing work groups including inbound loads.
- Ensure thorough training/cross-training of all warehouse personnel.
- Preparing and monitoring the methods used for unloading and loading, including proper safety handling procedures.
- Directing, auditing, and confirming Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) methods based on Warehouse function.
- Ensuring that the warehouse and outside areas are kept clean and neat, always depicting a professional image.
- This includes assigning and delegating clean up zones as needed.
- Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe work environment.
- 3-5 years' experience in large scale warehousing operations.
- Detailed understanding of operational, administrative and system processes in the warehouse.
- Well experience in managing a team.
- E-commerce fulfillment experience.
- SAP experience
