Warehouse Manager (JB1406)

R18 000 – R25 000 CTC per Month

Experienced Warehouse Manager with excellent knowledge of hardware products required to manage a team of between 15 and 20 warehouse staff members and drivers.
You will ensure that all stock levels are accurate and that the company has the correct amount of tock on hand at all times.
Requirements:
5 + years’ experience as a Ware House Manager/ Supervisor
2 + years staff management experience
Relevant Degree/ Diploma
Proficient in MS Office suite and SCM+ or other relevant ERP system
Responsibilities:
Positively contribute to the cycle of continuous improvement in the warehousing environment through the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, practices and people
Ensure standard processes and procedures are followed and that that instructions from management are carried out
Prevent and manage shrinkage and damages to the best of your ability
Manage logistics in warehousing and expenses in the department e.g., overtime
Manage the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Enforce safety and housekeeping program on an ongoing basis
Manage stock control and inventory function including stock take preparation
Ensure regulation of in-stock level complies with demand
Collaborate closely with finance on stock levels and orders
Engage in the forecast of supply and demand to obtain information useful in improving the continuity of supply chain
Develop inventory control models that promote lower cost of sales, shorter lead times, and reduced stock levels
Ensure Customer Orders are delivered on time
Supervise the maintenance of a warehouse and ensure proper arrangement of stock
Monitor, train, and regulate employee performance to ensure results and deliverables are met
Oversee the completion of day-to-day tasks
Work alongside and manage drivers on their daily deliveries; utilizing optimal routes
Manage the team's productivity and time management
Conduct investigations and disciplinary hearings and attend CCMA cases
