We are looking for a talented WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS LEADER to join our team specializing in LOGISTICS for our CORPORATE/CBS SEGMENT in JOHANNESBURG, GAUTENG, SOUTH AFRICA.
In this role, the candidate will make an impact in the following ways:
- Overall Leadership responsibility of Parts Distribution Centers across Southern African Region. Accountable for Service Level Agreement commitments to General Managers of all Business Units whose products are distributed through the facility.
- Coordinate key business support activities required to operate facilities effectively, including (but not limited to): Safety, Security & Facilities Management, Quality Management, Supply Chain
- Management, Operations Excellence , Sales and Operations Planning, Finance and Accounting, Information Technology, Human Resources.
- Prepare and manage an annual operating plan including expense, resources, and capital. Manage Capital Investment requirements (Personal Protection Equipment & Information Technology) to assist business plans.
- Manage and develop supply chain capability; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning. Mentor and coach individual and collective talent to develop supply chain capability across the organization.
- Review Key Performance Indicators and operational trends to validate root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
To be successful in this role the candidate will need the following:
- NQF Level 07 Qualification (Supply Chain, Engineering and Business)
- Post Grad Qualification (MBA/Project Management)
- Six Sigma/12 Step Kaizen Exposure (Must)
- SAP Certification/Working Knowledge (Must)
