A well established company based in Brackenfell, Western Cape has a vacancy for a material handler.
Job responsibilities:
- Picking of stock items from various isles accurately and in line with SOP.
- Ensuring that orders are picked accurately ready for dispatch
- Responsible for processing required transactions on the RF scanner (pick / put away / movement / replenishment).
- Adhere to all department specific requirements.
- To execute the picking of orders (or warehouse activities) accurately within the warehouse environment and to assist with all related warehouse activities.
- Ensures that standards of hygiene and safety meet with company’s policies.
- Plan and prioritize, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands.
- Demonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage change.
- Demonstrate flexibility in balancing achievement of own objectives with abilities to understand and respond to organisational needs.
- Adhere to company dress code / and PPE requirements at all times.
Job requirements:
- Grade 12.
- English written and verbal essential.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant material handling experience within a warehouse environment.
- Handheld device competency computer literacy (i.e. RF scanner).
- High school or equivalent
- 2 years RF scanner and material handling experience.
