An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Supply Chain Division for a Warehouse Supervisor in Gauteng. The incumbent is responsible for the overall planning, coordinating, and following up the activities of the Team Leaders and Inventory leads and their teams in the Warehouse. Using the system and Dashboards, Supervisors are expected to be able to confidently manage & lead the operations and be able to share reports with senior management on the progress of the Warehouse from an operational viewpoint.

Essential Job Functions
- To supervise & lead the activities of his subordinates
- Manage floor resources
- Lead productivity and 5S improvement initiatives, etc.
- To be responsible for good housekeeping in the store.
- Support in management meetings
- Identify and develop new SOPs
- Have an ownership of exploring new areas of opportunity
- Have an ownership to follow up on action plans to continuously improve
- Secure all floor employees to comply with corporate and global safety guidelines
- Must have strong leadership, planning and coordinating skills related to the function
- Responsible for managing all floor employees attendance and leave
- Develop the direct report capabilities by showing a good example
- To investigate disciplinary and grievance problems, and to refer them to the Operations
- Manager for further action.
- To ensure that all daily bookings are carried out accurately
- Facilitate with HSE and Quality requirements for the department.
Education:
- Matriculation, A diploma in Supply Chain Management/Operations
- Valid drivers license (Code EB) with no endorsements
- At least 3 to 4 years experience in logistics and supply chain. Preferably in medical devices / pharmaceuticals.
