Clients
- Provide digital advisory support across clients and guide the department, team, and suppliers from strategy to implementation.
- Build long-term relationships with clients and global teams. Investigate and determine clients wants and needs in a professional and clear manner while addressing client queries effectively.
- Be advisory support to client strategy, plan, and keep them in the loop regarding any developments.
- Prepare for and fully participates in meetings, adding value.
- Oversight on project timelines and budgets for client projects.
- Conducts analyst feedback - pre/post projects as well as digital and social reports.
- Write and edit communications for clients social, digital, strategy and campaign presentations.
- Proactively looks for opportunities to add value to day-to-day client programmes.
- Plan and implement digital strategies for clients. Manage client projects and campaigns - marketing, campaigns, metrics and deliverables to achieve agreed project and client KPIs.
- Recommend digital and social tactics and strategies to increase client ROI.
- Ability to compile, add value and support with client brand and digital strategy to support client KPIs and growth.
- Supports senior team members with logistical support and research - to increase company insight and new clients as well as current information and support for crisis counsel and participates in crisis rotas.
- Supports senior team members with research - concept notes, research projects, digital proposals, and reports.
- Conduct research dependent on the client and produce a high-level presentation to provide an overview on the context.
- Participates in the research and development of new business proposals and pitch presentations.
- Keep up to date and understand SEO, PPC, SEM, Video, Social etc. design, copy and application specifications and new advancements to assist with compiling digital and communication strategies.
- Ensure personal timesheets are completed and up to date at the end of every month.
- Responsible for reviewing and signing off all department expenses quotes and compiling budgets that form part of proposals.
- Offer support to the company Partners South Africa team as situations arise that support client and internal requirements.
- Fully participates in training at the agreed level and seeks any other appropriate opportunities for personal development.
- Plans and manages the organisation of client events as and when required.
- Brief freelancers, web developers, animators and copywriters and organise internal and external schedules for client projects.
- Ensure internal project management tools are kept up-to-date and accurate.
- Writes clear and instructional briefs for designers and freelancers to ensure deliverables, timelines and budgets are clearly understood.
- Shares the responsibility for the development team members, including taking the time to coach on-the-job digital skills and proactively flagging areas for development with the line manager on an ongoing basis.
- Seeks appropriate opportunities for personal development across the team through Performance Reviews and ongoing team check-ins.
- Facilitates upskilling and knowledge sharing across the team to support team growth.

- Offer support to the company Partners South Africa team as situations arise that support client and internal requirements.
- Develop Creative Strategies and campaign concepts, considering the most appropriate media channels that will impact the consumer and the practicality of production timelines and client budgets.
- Work closely with the strategy, design, social and account management team to ensure that the strategic platforms and insights are crafted for the best possible creative and client outcome.
- Oversee and guide the execution of large-scale campaigns with the team, leading the practical delivery of high-volume implementations and adaptations across platforms and audiences.
- Work closely with the leadership teams in PR, IR, digital and research partners to ensure executions meet the requirements.
- Conduct brainstorming sessions with creative teams, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative campaigns.
- Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring deliverables that effectively address marketing goals and challenges and are on brand and on brief.
- Provide clear feedback and guidance to creative teams, working with them to deliver the best possible result.
- Build and foster relationships with clients, winning over their trust and confidence.
- Demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail to ensure all work that leaves the agency meets the clients expectations.
- Attract and retain top talent and retain the best creative and strategic staff to support the business and the client projects.
- Understand how to analyse data across Google Analytics and social media to support client metrics and key client insights to drive campaigns and deliveries forward.
- Work across departments including operations and finance to identify and develop optimisation processes that will support the team and client delivery.
- Lead thought leadership and be a leader in the space of digital and creative strategy for the business.
- Demonstrates commercial awareness, including an understanding of service level against fee income - takes the initiative and responsibility for raising issues as necessary.
- Connected to the trends, insights, and networks in the industry sectors in which their clients operate and is also well-versed on social media, popular culture, and digital developments.
- Contributes to well-structured, creative, and profitable new business proposals and pitch presentations with minimal input from the senior management team.
- Manages department revenue, new business and build an ongoing pipeline for growth.
- Work with the operations teams to manage utilisation reports of the team and oversee timesheets and leave applications from across the team.
- Oversea and review all client contracts, budgets, expenses and software tool requirements for the team.
- Relevant creative qualification
- TTL/ BTL and digital creative communications/advertising agency experience, with a minimum of 10 years in TTL/BTL and Digital.
- Proven track record with a minimum of 4-years experience in a Creative Direction role or senior team lead role
- Strong client leadership credentials.
- Experience in FMCG is required.
- Experience in B2B advantageous.
- High-level understanding of digital marketing, electronic communication strategies and overall digital insights & analytics.
