Purpose of Role: The Applications Engineer will assist with the sale and management of Weir related pumping solutions. This role will be predominantly focused on dewatering solutions, although not limited to them. The role will be predominantly in the field, supporting the regions with the sale in the installation of these dewatering solutions

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
• Provide technical support for the product, internally and externally
• Site visits and trouble shooting
• Identify and develop new markets
• Support the wider Weir community with technical support

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
• Computer Literate MS Office Suite, ERP Software
• 5-7 years post qualification experience in a mining/manufacturing environment
• Pump selection experience
• Professional communication on all levels
