Responsibilities
- Write compelling stories within the Entertainment sphere, including in-depth guides, listicles, rankings, and breaking news.
- Keep up with trending topics and community discussions to pitch fresh, engaging ideas.
- Meet deadlines consistently and collaborate effectively with our editorial team.
- Submit a resume, along with 1-3 relevant writing samples (applications without samples will not be considered), and a brief cover letter showcasing your expertise and passion.
- Deep knowledge and enthusiasm for a variety of franchises, including but not limited to Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, MCU, DC, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Stranger Things, Fallout, Halo, Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, One Piece, Cosmere, Dune, Wheel of Time, Game of Thrones.
- Use your unique voice to create captivating content across different formats and lengths.
- Display a self-starter mentality with the confidence to pitch trending ideas independently.
- Stay updated on all things Entertainment, including trending topics and news.
- Prior game writing experience preferred, with familiarity with Trello and WordPress as a bonus.
- Strong communication skills and a knack for meeting publishing deadlines.
- 1-2 years of prior game writing experience, with training in Trello and WordPress.
- Extensive knowledge of Entertainment franchises and their respective communities.
- Excitement, dedication, and adaptability to pivot when necessary.
