We are currently in the process of recruiting a Wire Factory Operator for the Wire Division based in Roodepoort in South Africa. The role will report directly to the Wire Foreman of South Africa. The job holder will bring fresh enthusiasm, motivation to help strengthen the team. Purpose of the Job:
- To maintain maximum production output of an acceptable quality level by ensuring that the machines run continuously.
Description of Accountabilities:
- Maintain product quality within the quality standards as laid down by the product mix sheet and work instructions by:
- Performing quality checks as required on a daily basis
- Continuously monitor product quality
- Taking corrective action when required to prevent substandard protocol
- Operating the machines within the process control, daily target and production specification limits.
- Maximize machine efficiency and running time by:
- Cleaning all machines and surrounding areas on a daily basis
- Ensuring that there is oil in the pneumatic lubricators on a continuous basis
- Report faults and problems to the Foreman
- Multi skill on all the machines in the factory

- Grade 12
