Area: Woodmead - Springs/Illovo
Ages: Twin girls aged 7 years old in Grade 1 (the one daughter is diabetic)
Working hours: Mon Fri: 13:00 - 17:30
Start date: 01 September 2023 - Permanent role
Duties: Collect from school, take to extra murals and appointments, assist with homework, ensure bags are packed for the following day, grocery shopping for the family if needed, run errands, Prepare meals for the children, pack lunches for the following day. Engage in fun and stimulating activities such as baking, arts and crafts, outdoor play etc. Accompany the children on play dates and birthday parties. Adhoc babysitting at prior notice and paid at an hourly rate
Requirements: A female who is fun, warm and bubbly. Experience with the age group. Someone who can assist with Hebrew would be a huge bonus, but not a deal breaker. Someone with patience and can fit into the family easily.
Salary: R7500 - R8000 per month plus SARS Rates (R4.64) per km
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
- Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
- Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
- Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must have a passion for children
- Must have Matric
- Must have a South African ID document.
