Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing Duties: Operate machinery and follow specific production processes to prepare products for packaging, ensuring that everything meets quality control standards.
- Packing & Sorting: Pack products into boxes or containers, label them appropriately, and ensure that all items are packed securely for shipment.
- Assembly Line Work: Work efficiently on an assembly line, collaborating with your team to ensure a smooth production process and timely completion of orders.
- Quality Control: Perform visual inspections of products to ensure they are free of defects and meet company quality standards before packing.
- Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, adhering to safety regulations and keeping the workspace hazard-free.
- Inventory Monitoring: Assist in managing stock levels by reporting any shortages or issues with materials to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Adhering to Guidelines: Follow all health and safety regulations as well as company policies to ensure that products are processed and packed according to compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Matric certificate required.
- Previous experience in a production or packaging role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of safety and hygiene standards in a production setting.
