Position: Working chargehand
Location : Mossel bay
Purpose of the Role:
Lead the fishmeal production team by supervising Maintenance Activities, Coordinate Job Change Activities, Capturing Job Change Data, Delegating and supervising general workers, Maintenance Improvement Initiatives, Maintaining Sound Industrial Relations
Key Performance Areas
- Ensures production as planned is executed
- Maintains good relations and discipline within the shift.
- Ensures that planned and preventative maintenance is executed on time
- Plans and executes of ad-hoc maintenance tasks and small projects
- Assists fishmeal team/your shift with complex tasks
- Coordinates and actively takes part in production activities
- Must be prepared to do standby and work overtime when required
- Must be able to work long hours, overtime and weekends
- Maintain good housekeeping at all times.
Requirements Experience :
- 2 Years relevant experience in production environment
- Code 14 drivers license with experience in driving a truck will count in your favor.
- Electrical experience will count in your favor.
Competencies :
- High Problem solving skills, and mechanical aptitude
- Attention to Detail
- Team leadership with well developed interpersonal skills
- Hard working and willing to learn
Must have own vehicle & valid drivers license (for standby and overtime duties)
