Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a Manager in a Panel Workshop
- Must be Highly experienced in full process of a Panel workshop
- Must be deadline driven and able to meet targets set out by management
- Knowledge of Auto-body workshop Processes, Panel Beating/ Spray Painting, workflow, daily throughput and taking disciplinary action is essential
- Strong leadership skills, good business acumen
- Technically minded
- Must have good customer service and communication skills
- Experience doing quotations
- Fully Qualified Estimator who is also able to manage the flow of work through the bodyshop
- Managing the Technicians and ensuring they are as productive and efficient as possible
- Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followed
- Maintains an accurate paint and material inventory
- Maintains facilities and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety
- Performs a quality-control check and inspects each vehicle after repairs are completed
