Wynberg, Sandton: SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Minimum Requirements:
-Professional male, preferably aged 40 – 50 years
-Fully proficient in English
-Matric / Grade 12
-Mechanical Engineer Diploma or Degree A MUST
-Minimum five years relevant mechanical engineering experience in sheet metal or similar manufacturing environment A MUST
-Strong knowledge of welding procedures
-Computer literate in 3D CAD Software (Solid Edge preferred)
-Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
-Stable employment record
-Contactable References
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Consult with clients to determine requirements for designs
-Prioritise subordinates’ workload
-Review and approve designs and manufacturing drawings
-Conceptualise, research and develop new products for clients
-Assist in the fabrication of prototypes and sample units
-Industrialise products for mass production
-Present designs and demonstrate prototypes to clients for approval
-Able to implement and maintain quality standards
Salary: R 45 000.00 – R 52 000.00 gross (Depending on relevant experience)
