Authority Hacker, a leading online marketing education company, is looking for a scriptwriter who can create valuable, informative, and engaging content for one of the world's leading digital marketing website's latest YouTube channel.

Founded in 2014, Authority Hacker is a leading digital marketing training company. They create actionable SEO and online marketing education for online businesses.
They share all their latest digital marketing tactics on their blog and in their podcast which is then published to their YouTube channel. You can regularly find the world's top marketers engaging with and sharing their content!
The latest addition to the company is their news channel, where they share, analyse, and react to the latest hot topics in the industry - as it's happening - in bite-sized chunks. They want to be the source that a wide variety of people turn to to easily to stay up to date on what's happening out there and find out what that means for them. Think: a combination of Techquickie and TLDR News, for the digital marketing space.
The Role
As a scriptwriter for Authority Hacker, you'll have the opportunity to:
Stay up-to-date with the latest news in the SEO industry
Create the top stories that will be featured on a one-of-a-kind channel in the industry
Work with a supportive company that will help you maximise your impact
What will you do as a YouTube Scriptwriter?
- Receive an in-depth content brief and develop it into a full script for YT
- A small amount of research to get examples or develop key story points further.
- Create scripts for their short-form video content
- Collaborate with the project manager and content strategist
- You must be available to work at least 2-4 hours per week to apply.
- Demonstrable experience writing engaging YT scripts that deliver high engagement.
- Ability to distill complex topics into an easily explainable format.
- Excels at creating strong hooks that keep people watching.
- Ability to structure a script to keep users engaged, entertained and informed for the length of the video (up to 10 mins).
- Knowledge of the SEO/Search Industry and a basic understanding of how Google works.
- Great work ethic and quick turnover of content.
- Experience with Notion is a plus!
- Capacity to commit to writing 1-3 scripts per week.
