About the role:
We have a career opportunity for a dynamic Emerging Talent Consultant who will focus on attracting and hiring of students and graduates in collaboration with top tier universities, schools and other educational institutions. The four main pillars of responsibility will be our schools programme, undergraduate bursary programme, vacation work and internships, as well as our graduate programme.
Role responsibilities:
- Develop and implement emerging talent strategies with a key focus on social media campaigns to attract and secure high performing diverse graduates, students and bursars in the African market to support our business growth.
- Develop and manage graduate onboarding and development programmes in collaboration with the learning and development team.
- Accountable for advertising, application screening, interviews and offers.
- Accountable for undergraduate bursary programme payments, bursar relationships and BEE123.
- Accountable for the internal emerging professionals network to drive strategic business outcomes.
- Collaborate with Business Leaders to develop a holistic strategy for graduates in Africa aligned to future and critical skill requirements.
- Build collaborative relationships with universities, relevant organisations and student groups in the South African market to support talent pools e.g. SAGEA / SAICE / ISFAP.
- Manage bursary awards with the aim of raising the company profile and attracting high quality diverse talent aligned to legislative requirements.
- Report in a timely manner on all bursary, graduate and intern activity.
- Accountability for diversity in recruitment of bursars, graduates and interns prioritising the Employment Equity plan in South Africa.
- Manage the emerging talent budget.
- Accountable for the emerging talent onboarding employee experience throughout the hiring process.
- Degree in Human Resources
- Minimum of 5 years or more experience as a graduate, or emerging talent recruiter within the professional services or engineering sectors
- Strong relationship builder with ability to influence and partner with key stakeholders.
- Professional, confident communication and approach to drive strategic business partnering.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong talent systems experience
- Experience implementing recruitment marketing strategies
